Goat Yoga
Yes, you heard right! Goat yoga, with actual goats and what’s more there’s a wait list in the thousands. Of course, if you’d like to try goat yoga for yourself, you’ll have to travel to Arizona or Oregon. As silly as it sounds, yoga with goats is believed to be therapeutic especially for people who suffer from depression or anxiety. Cats On Mats
Looking for the purr-fect workout? You can’t get much better than yoga with cats. One of the mewest trends in the yoga world is taking Australia by storm and promises to bring out the cat-ernal instinct in everyone who attends the cat yoga classes. Meeting the rescue kittens will melt your heart and test your concentration. Yoga poses are a lot harder when you have playful kittens vying for your attention. Classes are special events, so be sure to keep your eyes on the Sydney Cat Cafe’s Facebook page for more details on the next Cats on Mats class. There are also classes held in Canberra.

Doga
Downward dog takes on a new meaning when you’re doing a yoga class with your pooch. Dog yoga with is believed to relieve stress and depression (yes, dog can suffer from the black dog too) and helps build trust between owner and pet. It takes place on occasional Sunday mornings at Queensland’s Coolangatta beach.  Money raised from the classes go toward variety animal charities such as Best Friends Rescue and Friends of the Pound.
